  Pressing Government to protect your industry by preventing competition: then asking for financial support, interest subsidies etc. shows you are not really caring about the average Ghanaian who will have to support inefficiency by paying additional Cedis for your products. The end result will be people will be sick or die because you want unfair advantages/subsidies for your manufacturing process. Regulate imported medicines, ensure quality, and be involved in creating control systems to protect Ghanaians. Stop looking for ways to make more money.

  We need to improve our balance of trade. The Americans did that(multilateral trade agreement) and what happened? These are all generic drugs which should be produced locally. These are people who have our interest at heart.
