We have heard a lot from our leaders from previous governments. When we try to take a step of moving forward, governments workers working in various offices becomes our obstacles especially to we Ghanaians. Which these governments workers some of them favor foreigners in the name of practicing fair and justice to them but discrimination to citizens. I guess this article is not true, a foreign diplomat did not receive electricity bills for 2 years, and continue to enjoy the service but a Ghanaian citizen being chased to pay just a month to 3 months arrears and service is disconnected and still pay bills.

You're still encouraging corruption under the guise of a nice cloth. There is so much corruption in the construction industry especially the road sector which needs serious fight.

Sad to see the government being drawn into market protection measures. Yes there should be national standards for contractors and consultants to comply with but reserving x% for national contractors is wrong it will only encourage higher bids. Have a proper procurement system that is transparent and professional the rest will look after itself. The Chamber were correct on payment issues however government should pay their bills onetime

Mr. Minister please note that the Government's commitment is not what the agencies implement. The leaders you put out to do the face to face want to be rich overnight and so delay permits, titles, documents to frustrate the people of GHANA. and Those of us overseas do not want to come and be part of this mess. What takes a day to do in the US takes ten years at Lands department. Please stress the "Enabling Environment" and teach enabling environment to stop corruption in Ghana.
