  Tema port is very inefficient and too expensive in terms of its services.US and European ports are not like that.Even the import duties charged by the Custom Officers are unrealistic.

  Nkrumah toiled for nothing, cos we can't even govern our own affairs! The black man is so stupid its not even funny!
  
  A nation where you can be charged import duties that is more than how much u bought the item ---what stupidity and greed is that? For instance, you buy an item for USD 2,000 and end up paying taxes to the tune of USD $5,000 ---- based on what logical kind of calculation? It only happens in Ghana....and committees like the shippers council reveal exactly how useless our laws have become as well as our leaders. There's no real oversight, no monitroing and checks, no punishment for offenders when caught, etc.
  
  Greedy bastards....they should wait until people start taking matters into their own hands!
