  You will need external conformation from two sources.
  1) The Ship Manifest which will have the scanner report. The weight report and Container seal number entered on the Bill of Lading/Manifest.
  The Scan certificate should have the seal number as well as the digital photographs of the scan attached.
  2) There should be verification via ASHI process the details of all import Documents which will show in advance the relationship between exporter and importer like the Bank detail etc. The certificate of Origin, Invoice and its value and discription of Goods and the packing list well in advance before the arrival of the ship so that the duty invoices are prepared.
  Forensic Audit linking will be the resulting process once all the information is collected.
  One can never go wrong with these measures in place as the Forensic Audit will be system oriented and at random therefore very rarely anyone can escape the net of the vigilant eyes.
