  Stop the noise and work. Which corporate body doesn't owe? u cant just be quick to count debts without counting your assets/investments. Do Ghanaians good by telling us the various projects/investments COCOBOD has done in cocoa areas in these years. Get to work and don't be like a lazy servant.

  If these monies are monies put in investments, why would anyone be asked to refund? Certainly, some deals may have been done here. All the same, why should Cocobod get into such financial problems? It gets advances each year ...

  The period during which this debt was accumulated has to be stated by the CEO. Certainly this debt couldn't have accumulated over the past three years of the previous Management. Secondly the I million metric tonnes was achieved only once in 2010/11 according to COCOBOD records. President Kuffour was not the head of state at the time even though he is credited for putting some good policies. The CEO should know by now that the production of cocoa follows a two year high and low cycle and this can be checked from COCOBOD's own production records. He cannot take any credit from increased cocoa production which has so far been recorded in the 2016/17 season. The reduced cash flow from cocoa is because of the massive reduction by one third of the international price of cocoa for close to one year now. What we have to do as a nation is to add value to our raw cocoa before export and promote consumption of cocoa products.The throwing of dust into the eyes of the public on cocoa issues must stop. The propaganda is doing more harm to the cocoa industry.

  Ghana achieved 1m tons of cocoa only once under mills. The former mp shd know the difference between campaign platform message and a CEOs message. Too much propaganda and outright lies
