UNTIL DIGITAL ADDRESS SYSTEM IN PLACE GHANA POST IS USELESS, GET ALL THOSE CRIMINAL OUT OF THE SYSTEM. USE DIGITAL SYSTEM TO PREVENT TEMPERING OF MAILS AND BETTER DELIVERY SYSTAMS

We need cameras to capture the thieves amongst them. No system to hold staff accountable when they open parcels and steal items. They are bunch of thieves in Kumasi GPO.

Ghana Post must also tackle the pilfering of international parcels mailed to Ghana. On two occasions i have mailed parcels, even through expedited mail system (ems), they were never delivered..So please Ghana Post must check ...

In my opinion the best strategy is to merge the Ghana Postal Service with the State Transport Company. This will create a synergy in the sense that the daily operations of the postal service will improve the cash-flow situation of the State Transport Company and the freight cost of the postal service will be absorbed into the operational cost of the State Transport Company.
The savings and deposit services of the postal service should be modernized to attract more customers.

Good intention but you need money to carry out reforms to reslise your dream. But would Ghanaians who are used to not paying high cost of such a service be prepared to pay any added on cost for the reforms?

The minister was talking about speeding up delivery system when no one is mailing anything.When was the last time you sent or received a mail from someone?In fact, people send packages via vIP vehicles and ordinary drivers and get THEM delivered with the charges between Gh10-Gh20 ;depending on the weight of the package .There are a whole lot of services the post office can provide,esp in the rural areas but unfortunately the minister didn't talk about them.When I was growing up post office was our modern day rural bank.In fact, my first savings was done at the post office.If we really want to see the socio-economic promised Land we have to start thinking outside the book---unfortunately that is what we are failing to do.Where is Hon Osafo Marfo? .Post office has outlived its mandate so we need to change our thinking and expectations.If we are talking about letter delivery we must as well talk about sending cable and telegram messages via post office; instead of using e-mails and sms.
