When Kwaku Baako informed us about the atrocities of Kwesi Pratt during PNDC Regime, some of us did not believe until the truth was confirmed during the NRC. Kwesi Pratt is the most dangerous Journalist Ghana had ever have, he had the gut to recommend his fellow journalists to be executed by PNDC. Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. Now Pratt is a secret agent to NDC and US Embassy in Ghana. May God forgive Pratt and spare him the untold evils that will come upon him and his generations. The souls of those journalist killed through Pratt's recommendations to PNDC will never forgive Pratt. Now Pratt has the guts to take Diplomatic Passport and smuggled his weak-headed children to work at the Ministries under Mills NDC, may God forgive Pratt and his dependance and spare them of the evils ahead of them...

The government need to present a comprehensive plan on how this loan is going to be used and how we are going to pay it back.Without a detailed map on how to move forward we are liable to waste and squander it in hair brained schemes and corruption.Every single dollar expenditure must be made opened to the country(with the exception of milliatry expenditure). At the end of the year we must have verifiable gain for every dollar spent.

We can invest $2Billion of the money into Container,Tanker and Refridgerated ships and recover our investment in less than 5 years.Container,Tanker and Refridgerated Ships sell for $700,000 to $2m depending on the size and seller..We can build a national fleet with 10 container 10Tanker and 10 refridgerated ships to start with.Any person who knows about the$5Trillion shipping industry will tell you that there are always more jobs than ships. It is an under statement to say countries like Greece,Japan,China,Taiwan-China,United States and Indonesia rake in tidy profits for themselves by hauling oil and freight for themselves, other countries and private companies.A national fleet hauling just for landlocked countries in Africa alone will bring in almost as much as our oil and cocoa does if not more.It is time to open our eyes and think outisde the box for a change. No Akonfem schemes and no used power bardges. If we seriously upgraded our manufacturing sector and coupled that with an ability to ship cheaply to markets in West/Central/East Africa I think we will be able to carve a very lucrative nitche for ourselves. The South Africans are already doing it,it is time for Ghana to join in before others take our place.

The most important questions is:
How much will this deal cost us... We get 15 billion and the Chinese take away between 50 to 100 billion of our minerals.?
Reports on Chinese involvement in DR Congo, indicates that the Chinese promise big and deliver much less. For example in 2003 the Chinese AgriBusiness Group, in a deal projected a 3 million hectares of plantation to be completed in 2009. By 2009 only 100,000 hectares of plantation was done.
Our government must be very careful in dealing with these Chinese.
