IT IS ABNORMAL for a country of less than average minimum wage ranking the most expensive country.
The way the leaders in this country , are managing the economy of ghana is the worst to compare to an uneducated community, where there is no policy directions to achieve basic standard of life.
it is unacceptable and abnormal to use all your minimum wage salary to pay for only electricity bill and lorry fares.

When our former president 'Uncle Atta ' introduced VAT we had people to demonstrate under the banner of 'Kume preko ' .When the leader of the kume preko demonstration had the opportunity to be in gov't VAT was increased. When asked he said at the time of his demo, Ghana was not in the right time to introduce VAT. Now we are faced with 3 percent something something. What is that. Can someone explain? So why will Ghana not be an expensive country in Africa?

In ghana the system doesn't work at all. Instead of encouraging the ppl tu do small farming every where to support one self . They rather encourage every body to go and pray . Churches every where the hrs to go work .Is spent at church.
Don't yu get it . That's one point.
point number two . The rice we are farming in gh . Cannot reach us for even one week . If we don't import rice from Asia etc. Also our Life style.
big funerals /weddings . Etc.
Let me tell yu . A bank staff in uganda don't earn more than 300 dollars a month a senior staff I mean. And his counterpart in gh . Earns twice that . But it can't reach him in gh. I v stayed in uganda before .There they encourage farming . . And food is in abundance . But in gh . Some one will build a big hse with compound and turn the compound into airport . Or green fllowers
And hire some one to water it every day. ..This person could v turned that same place into a garden. But he won't do it. .We will preface to go to the mall and buy tomatoes . .that's the ghana . For yu .
I v leaved in East Africa for 12 yrs . Go and compare their life style and ours . And get it right ghana is just expensive .. pronto . This is true . There are a lot of instances I can pinpoint . . But that will mean I won't stop writing.
