  THIS IS LONG OVERDUE AND SOONER THE BETTER. GHANA NEED THE DIGITAL ADDRESS SYSTEM TO SPEED A LOT OF THIS PROCESS. WHEN CRIMINALS STEALING POWER ARE ARRESTED PROSECUTED THEM HASHLY JUST LIKE BEING DONE IN CHINA.

  ECG is one service provider that if it were possible some of us would have changed them long time.there's a lot of inefficiency in the system.

  it's too sad govts don't whip the directors and ceos of institutions to work according to specific targets within time lines but keep telling citizens stuff we have no hand in. for over 60 years ecg, vra, gridco etc can't set up a training college to train it's engineers how to manufacture meters and transformers, what's special about a meter that we can't manufacture it for the big market in Ghana and neighboring countries?. wanting a new meter for a new building takes hell torture. same applies to connecting water. govt must think above ordinary people and behave above political instincts . I know ceos and directors of institutions are your party men and women but let them wake up. give ecg and water company time lines that they cant delay a customer who wants a new connection beyond , same with lands commission when it comes to issuing land papers for lands that people buy through the lands commission , passport office the same time line . 5 days maximum from the day the customer applies for the services. same applies to MMCE/DCEs. why should a DCE sit down for central govt to come eliminate schs under trees or build simple markets. govts must know governance. three or four ministers heading one ministry should be able to give performance contracts to directors and ceos of state institutions and strictly supervise them to achieve such targets. African needs action, not talking.

  These are the common things ordinary man want to see knust vigorously embarked upon.It brings immediate relief to ordinary man who has been taken for granted for too long by crook ecg, don't know much about grico and vra.Knust sit-up and put your house in order.
  Ayigya zongo, bomso, Ayeduase, Oforikrom,accratown are all looking up to you.Common meter must is an expensive items sold by corrupt official of ecg ..........I rest my case.

  When the previous government wanted to do that, Kofi Jumah, one of the NPP stalwarts campaigned against it. Now I am happy that it will be done so that Ghanaians will be responsible when using power.
