It's very pathetic because as an association if their figures are right and projections are sensible why don't they go to financial institutions and present their business plans for funding. Everybody wants to use government money to do business because they know it will never be paid back.
What is worrying is the fact that their figures seem to be off. Training one person and kits cost 750ghc each. How come 50 kits with the same person will cost the same 750ghc. Because we know you don't to train 1 person per kit. The associated kits is not sold per beehive. It is sold per person. So when I buy one protective kit to start I don't need to buy a kit for every additional beehive I buy.

The fact is that foreign honey suppliers will most likely never capture a major share of the table grad US honey market. The reason is that the food revolution in the US is being driven by local, sustainable suppliers. Maybe there is room in the commercial or bakery grade honey market, but lets face it - Ghana is not a well known, long standing, trusted source. It could take decades or even longer for that reputation to be developed.
