One of the broken windows at Pankrono SDA Church
The Pankrono Estate Seventh Day Adventist Church (SDA) in the Tafo Municipality has been attacked by robbers.
The criminals managed to make away with valuable items from the church such as Keyboard, Amplifier, Microphones etc.
Abusua FM’s Osei Kwadwo reported that the incident has thrown the church members into a state of shock.
The Public Relations Officer (PRO) for Pakrono Estate SDA church, Samuel Apau Ahen who confirmed the incident said the robbers took away items worth Twenty thousand Ghana cedis (GHc20,000).
According to him, the robbers got access to the church building after they broke the windows.
“We don’t know when the incident happened. We came to church this morning and found out that the Keyboard and many others have been stolen by the robbers. We are having church service today without microphone, speaker and others. The situation is very disheartening” he said.
The PRO appealed to NGOs, groups and individual to come to their aid.
The case has been reported at the Tafo Police Station.
