The Ministry of Health can also lobby Parliament to allocate specific funds to go treatment centers in major cities and elsewhere where they may be needed most. The choice is between spending money on treatment centers or seeing thousands of Ghanaians end up in streets or in coffins when treatment can help turn them back into productive citizens. It will help greatly if the treatment centers are given a chance to have those who have successfully undergone treatment to give talks to elementary and high school students about the hazards of drug use so that many may be helped from falling into the trap of drug use. Thanks for your caring comment, for addiction is treatable.
