  I certainly do not agree with this angle of Security Analysis. And I have been in this business Externally and internally for the past 55 years. Misinformation about the position and status of a key security boss must be swiftly clarified to assure the public of safety. Do you mean a lie that a Head of State is dead should not be immediately refuted?

  I do not agree with this so called security analyst. The police statement was apt and a well thought through. It cleared every doubt among police officers and the general public that the rumour was false. Ignoring a response could have created more harm than good. Thumbs up for the communication team which brought the swift response.

  Nonsense. It was a plan to push the IGP out. But they tested the waters and realise the citizens are angry and with that decision by the Akuffo Addo Bawulair Timothy government.

  They were very lucky to rescind that decision. Akuffo Addo should have seen the Kenyalike something small Oooh.
  A vote for Bawulair Timothy is a vote for Akuffo Addo's 3rd term in power.

People give themselves whatever accolades and titles they prefer then the media tags along without verification. When an analyst starts his analysis with the words "Personally ..." the the matter is subjective.

They'll fabricate a story, throw it into the public domain, allow the public to debate the false narrative while NDC the original creator of the story takes a position and fan their propaganda machinery to create disaffection for their opponents. If you're a qualified security analyst you would appreciate the need for the Ghana Police Service to respond to expose the lies of the propagandists.

  One of the major problems we have in the country nowadays is the number of 'security analysts' that have mushroomed in recent times. Out of nowhere, there are now so many of them that, to be seen to be relevant, they want to comment about everything. So in the opinion of this one who I'm hearing of for the first time, even if there was a rumour of the death of the IGP, the Police Service should keep mute so that another security analyst would question why they didn't issue any statement? Yoo, yate, Mr. Security Analyst.
