What at all will one roll or whatever you found do for Ghana when there are bigger issues to collectively address. Police in Ghana, why are you picking on the weak? Are you afraid of the rich and affluent?

Many cheap cough syrups contain codeine or other ingredients that can cause drowsiness, euphoria (a high), and addiction when consumed in large amounts. When kids get high on cough syrup, they may become reckless, leading to road accidents, fights, or unsafe decisions. Also, anyone with an undiagnosed allergy to codeine can die after one dose.
  
  Drinking too much cough syrup can cause breathing problems, liver damage, and even death in severe cases. Regular use can lead to addiction, making people desperate for more, which can increase theft, violence, and drug-related crimes.

Police usually go round, especially on Fridays, arrest some people and take money from them without sending them to court. Some police officers also patronise the wee drinks.
