The court has to take strong actions against these land guards to serve as a deterrent to others . The actions of these land guards are babaric and they act with impunity like they are untouchable. Meanwhile their actions are illegal with some of them forcing the rightful owners of land to give up their lands . It is shameful that Kpebu who professes to be a human rights lawyer with be defending those engaged in the illegal destruction of someone’ property. These people should have been denied bail and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Land guards are a menace to our society and the law must deal with them .
