Diasporians have been cautioned in their dealings with Ghanaians back home because of their fraudulent activities and lack of trust and sincerity even from their own family members. There have been countless instances where Ghanaians in the diaspora have been duped by Ghanaians back home especially in the acquisition of land and in the purchase of homes .
Ms Ayittey the Nurse in the US thought a lawyer in Ghana will be the best person through whom she can acquire a property in ghana since lawyers know the legal framework to own a property and so she relied on lawyer Amporful who end up defrauding her. This deceptive lawyer must be charged with fraud , prosecuted, refund every penny to the nurse , jailed and disbarred. Lawyers who defraud their clients must be disbarred. Who else can our diasporians trust in Ghana?
