Armed robbery in Ghana has taken a different turn since the country accepted an influx of other west African nationals including Nigerians and the Fulanis into the country. Some Ghanaians are also involved in this menace. It is time Ghana reinstates capital punishment to get rid of all these armed robbers. The fact that other countries have abolished capital punishment does not mean that Ghana has to follow them . Our situation now is a dire one with armed robbers mounting roadblocks and robbing and killing innocent passengers . This has to stop . Our MPs and other government officials think they are safe because they may have security assigned to them but they have to think about the rest of the citizens who have no such protection.

There is some misconception in this country, a serious misconception as if all crimes are accepted norm.
A friend of mine had the house he was building wired. The next day someone went and removed the wires.
When he reported the matter to the police what they said was that if an unoccupied building is wired the wires are removed.
It is being made to look like the wires in an unoccupied building belongs to thieves.
