It is fatherly and gracious for a president to overlook these kind of foolish slander that young people always put on social media.
If it was a question of something that truly threatened national security, I would understand, but I find this petty. She could have been warned or punished in small way, but 1 year prison I think was totally unnecessary.
Harsh treatment and vindictivness to your opponents rather takes away your popularity. I mean...who is this young woman for him to feel threatened by? Mr President, you are too big to chase a fly with a mow hammer.

Today, Haruna Iddrisu, Muntataka Mubarak, Amaliba, and Kpebu are publicly speaking out against this trend. Yet, the arrest of Tsatsu Tsikata is being used as a pretext to restore balance. Let's be clear: which ethnic group in Ghana has committed more atrocities? Isn't the P/NDC, led by these Ewes? I feel sorry for some Ewes, but let's call a spade a spade. Listen to their politicians on national television, and you'll understand the unjustified hatred that drives them. A certain Mr. Nukpenu seems to be offering some solutions, without unnecessarily trying to equate blame. He even called Kennedy Agyapong a coward. He admitted that the fight against galamsayers had failed and that the only solution was to use violence to stop them, as they are heavily armed. I don't know if a man from the Ewe ethnic group will ever be able to run for president of Ghana.

Every reasonable Ghanaian will never believe this burial of that many sheep, and for what purpose. Parents and Family Members should warn their young ones not to spread nonsense and foolishness on the Internet. I wish some reasonable and respectable people can appeal to Mahama to give her a pardon. Such occurrences are just common in Ghana. How many bad things were not spoken about Efo Julor John Rawlings, Kuffour, and Akuffo Addo that were not true? Yet they did not seek any punishment for such delinquents but left them alone.
I think that this offense is not a Felony and she should have been punished for some weeks or months with Community Service. That would not have put any economic effects on the country. Sweeping Market places, Public Toilets, resulting Gutters would have taught her a lesson and benefitted the country. Let the young ones be made to understand that it is useless and bad to play any such truancy on the Internet these days.

John Mahama and his NDC government should be ashamed of themselves. What didn’t the NDC opposition leaders and members say about Akuffo-Addo?
Some of the things they said Akuffo-Addo is still fresh on our minds.

At some stage they claimed that Akuffo-Addo has been diagnosed with cancer and other terminal maladies that wouldn’t let him even make the first four year term if he is voted into Office. They also claimed among many other things that Akuffo-Addo: a Middle Temple English trained senior attorney who also held the French Bar aside from his Ghanaian and British Bar Association membership is a certificate less lawyer.

Meanwhile Akuffo-Addo is considered one of the most internationally acclaimed lawyers of our generation. If Ghanaians remember the time one NDC goon claimed that he saw Akuffo-Addo urinating around one of the most sacred places at Yaa Naa’s shrine or compound.

Some of the things they said about the former President were so horrible to the extent it shouldn’t even be mentioned of, trust me, it took only a peaceful man like Akuffo-Addo to not resort to vengeance, but the old man took it cool without acting on any of these hearsay. So now what has happened to the criminal liable laws that were repealed under the Kuffour administration?

Has Ghana all of a sudden drifted back into the P/NDC era where human rights protections of its citizens were completely eroded? If JJ Rawlings and Kwame Nkrumah had their terms of office came to a close at some point, what makes Mahama and surrogates think that their terms of office is an open ended situation?

Do you also remember that during the 2016 NDC Delegates Conference in Cape Coast some NDC leaders led the some supporters to carry a coffin purportedly containing Akuffo-Addo’s remains? What hasn’t Mahama himself said about the NPP and their supporters? This is very unfortunate, I’ m trying to be very peaceful to even write without expressing my anger in words. Very soon I going to be back Ghana but should anyone even touch the color of my shirt I will file a multimillion dollar lawsuit against them , their family members and their businesses. Trust me!
