It looks like judges are being fightened to impose fair bail amounts. It is clear that this dude issued GhC600,00 dud cheques. GhC 150,000 is an incentive for him to go and hide in Lome. Kofi Bentil and Co., enabled by Newsfile megaphone, have made so much noise, because of Kofi's NPP affiliation, that judges are scared to impose fair bail terms. By the way Kofi speaks with both sides of his mouth.

Hmmmmm. Ghana is just an extremely corrupt place. It looks like we have become more corrupt than Nigeria. Why didn't the Judge issue a Bail amount double the amount of the Dud checks he issued with four Guarantors who are very senior employees of the Government who must also be worth double the Dud checks with lands and buildings whose documents should be placed with the courts? The Judge should have made the Bail conditions extremely hard so that he can hardly find them.
Ghanaians are just becoming too corrupt. If I were the Judge, I would not have granted him any Bail conditions so that he could bring back the money quickly or Sentence him into Prison for about 12 years with Hard Labor. By the time he is released, his wives and girlfriends would have divorced him and remarried even his own friends. 15 years imprisonment will have even been good for him. The Judge was very magnanimous to him.
