Anyway, my point is this. Kudos to Ghana Police for identifying the suspected policeman, interdicting him and naming him publicly. I hope you are not planning to allow the passage of time blow dust of forgetfulness on it.

But we are still waiting anxiously for the outcome of the investigations or disciplinary proceedings in respect of the police officers who arrested a Ghanaian citizen, handcuffed him and handed him over to some religious fanatics to humiliate and assault at the police headquarters. Or you just wan make Ghanaians forget that one over time?

Police officer is the standard professional and official title used today. Policeman is largely outdated because modern police forces include people of all genders.

There is no functional difference in the job; police officer is the modern, gender-neutral term, while policeman is an older, gender-specific term.

Therefore, a POLICE OFFICER could be a male or female in the profession be they of lower or higher ranking.

Actually, this is what I think transpired. those boys on the bike were stopped by the police at a checkpoint but refused to stop so the police gave them a hot chase thinking they were criminals or hiding something, as the police got closer to them one officer kicked the bike to force them to stop but the unexpected happened unfortunately a speedy car crashed them behind killing one on the spot. The police realizing the tragic incident immediately sped off to avoid their involvement in the murder case. End of story. Moral lesson: The boys should have stopped at the checkpoint to avoid this disaster. Partly the boys partly the police
