The victims should have been charged with aidding and abetting. Why did they have to pay some one before being enlisted into the police service. Is that the practice?

you are damn right, kby. The victims were quite happy to engage in an illegal act to serve their selfish interests. That's why corruption is endemic in Ghana

If I pass myself as a teacher, then I must be jailed. Or I pass myself as a laborer, I must be jailed for not telling the truth about myself?

Duping people is bad, but people do that all the time. Duping and bribery are twin brothers, and you, judge, receive bribe all the time.

Hey stupid judge, we are not yet in heaven. Sentence, but have a heart. What are you being taught in law classrooms. I am ashamed of you. Damn.

WHY DO GHANAIANS ENGAGE MIDDLEMEN TO EVEN REQUEST PASSPORTS ON THEIR BEHALF INSTEAD OF THEM WALKING TO THE PREMISES OF SUCH GOVERNMENT AGENCIES FOR ENQUIRIES AND ASSISTENCE. THEY SHOULD SOMETIMES BLAME THEMSELVES FOR SUCH SITUATIONS LIKE THE ONE THEY FOUND THEMSELVES IN AT THE MOMENT. THE MONIES LOST COULD HAVE BEEN USED FOR OTHER PROFITABLE ACTIVITIES. GHANAIANS SHOULD OPEN THEIR EYES AND STOP EMPLOYING THE SERVICES OF 'CONNECTION MEN' TO HELP IN ANY SITUATION. THERE IS A SAYING IN AKAN THAT ' SE WOPINI TIEFI HO A NA WOTE NE KANKAN WHICH MEANS THAT IF ONE DRAWS NEAR A TOILET WILL SNIFF THE SMELL BETTER INSTEAD OF AT A DISTANCE. WE SHOULD BE UP AND DOING BY READING FROM THE DAILIES AND THE INTERNET TO KEEP OURSELVES ABREAST WITH CURRENT ISSUES INCLUDING EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES AND FOLLOW THE DUE PROCESS. IF WE ARE NOT SUCCESSFUL TODAY TOMMORROW WILL BE OUR CHANCE.
