  Madness at it peak. Why not THE VICTIM sending the money to the bank. The judge should have sentenced the complainant in addition for causing financial loss to the original owner of the said money.

  common sense is not common to some people. see first of all, you can trust the one you live with but you can eat any food prepare at home in your absence. then you should have trust any one at all, so the best place to keep the money is bank or tell the person that your place is safe for such amount of money. the one who used the money is wise and i will encourage to seek for petition since police can't hold any criminal charges agaisnt him and promise the court to pay the money over peroid of time because everybody has some level of common sense and if you could used your well people have teach you the way out

  Where are all these judges trained. The best is to ask the mallam to refund the money "in bits" to the girl. In anycase, 3 days is such a short period for mallam Ibrahim to spend that huge amount. Persuade the mallam not to put him in prison. Is there any benevolent lawyer in Accra who can go help such prisoners released? No wonder our prisons are crowded with the jungle judgement!
