No wonder,I bet the driver is not personally insured, and maybe the car doesn't belong to him. About time the law is changed and for every driver, especially those driving taxi, trotro and bus should have personal insurance before sitting behind the wheel. The owners should not be the once to insured the vehicles, in most cases it is not the owner behind the wheel. If Ghanaian trotro, bus, and taxi drivers started to insured themselves, they will start to act reasonably, because they will know if they get involve in an accident that will affect them by paying expensive premium.

I can see the stupid officer standing right in front of the driver, inside of by the side of the driver.

This was not an intentional hit, rather, in an attempt to put the car into park, he accidentally put it into drive which resulted in the car (not the driver) running over the officer's foot.

Next time he will learn not to stand in front of an offending motorist.

A police Officer stops a driver on a routine check, as the driver gets down to meet the officer, he puts something in his expired license and hands it over to the Police. If you had everything right, an officer can force you to give. You break the law, it deals with you. I say so because i crossed a red light and was stopped by an officer, after giving him a flimsy excuse, i tried paying my way out but he won't take it. He only gave me a verbal caution and allowed me to drive on. Respect them small and don't call it 'bribe.' Call it 'Small gift.'
