Both the DCE and the accused promote corruption, and I have no doubt that if there is an opportunity in a right circumstance, the DCE will take bribe as well. Both the giver and receiver of bride know that unfair treatment will be carried out to prevent the rightful owner to receive what he/she deserve.

I find two problems with the report. Undoubtedly, the MP aspirant is a fraud and deserves being arrested. Similarly, the government official – DCE Ms. Sabina Appiah Kubi – demonstrated lack of judgement, revealed what can equally be described as corrupt or greed when she went along with the MP “wonnabe” and agreed to pay him “GHC 15,000 to make the necessary arrangements for her to re-nominate” for her current position.

My suggested solution to the problem is that the 1992 Constitution should be amended to have DCEs elected by their constituents instead of them being appointed.

I wish to highlight some inaccurate reporting on your website to the above story title.

Madam Sabina Appiah-Kubi, knew from the onset that George Ampiah Biney was 419 scammer. She called me a few days prior to meeting Mr. Biney that she suspected that this man was trying to defraud her and she would play along so she could lure him, and take him to the police.

Madam Sabina Appiah-Kubi, did not give Mr. Biney any money. When she met him in Winneba, she asked him to get into her car stating that 15 000 GHS was too much money to carry around and that they should collect it together from a friends house nearby. Her intention was to drive with him to the police. Mr. Biney sensed that his cover had been blown so he jumped out the moving car. Madam Sabina's driver and onlookers in Winneba helped to apprehend this scammer. Mr. Biney then threw 3 cellphones he had been carrying after taking out the phone chip which he began chewing.

It's unfortunate that online media copy and paste articles without verifying them before publishing. I hope you'll correct this gross inaccuracy and give it the same visibility and coverage as the inaccurate article.

If the DCE became interested and agreed to meet at a place where money changed hands, then what makes her the complainant? Is she complaining because the accused tried to run with the money?

Would the DCE not still be waiting for her re-nomination had the accused accepted the GHC 13,000.00? What then gives this criminal DCE the legal and moral right to file a fraud case against the accused?

Only in Ghana and under (P)NDC government can a criminal like this file a case against her conspirator.

The first person to be arrested is the so called DCE before the guy in question
