  I detest any form of lynching of criminals, be it snakes or humans.
  
  The snakes should have handed the thief over to the appropriate authorities to deal with him; they should not have taken the law into their own mouths and bite the guy to death. We are a society of law and order, and if snakes are allowed to mete instant justice to thieves or people they suspect of stealing, the country will descend into anarchy.
  
  Please let us all condemn the snakes for their vigilante acts.
