Mr. Saradura Lucci is SUSPECT NUMBER ONE. After watching 'Forensic detectives' and other crime programmes on DSTV for over ten years, I can smell an 'inside' murder when I see one. And already Mr. Lucci is establishing an alibi by claiming that he left the house at 9 am and returned at 10:45 am. Detectives have to investigate that claim. I bet the murder was commited before Mr. Lucci left the house. The brutally with which the women was killed also provides a strong clue of the motive - love and passion. oh, how I wish I were a detective. This will turn out as a sophisticated murder case, and so the Police should match up that sophistication and leave no turn unstoned. I believe that if the Police should do a thorough job, they would get to the bottom of this murder. If this woman was killed by Ghanaians, then they should be brought to book. But if she was killed by her partner, then he should be exposed so that Ghana will be saved from the tag of being a security threat to Europeans.

2. Also, the Ghana that I knew was a place where the Queen Mother was accorded lofty reverence, and where, by extention, women enjoyed vicarious respect. To kill a woman was,therefore, a huge taboo.

3. In view of premises 1 and 2 above, the killing of an Italian woman in Ghana is a double taboo. It is doubly unGhanaian and must be condemned by all decent Ghanaians, home and in diaspora. Killing a woman is the lowest level a man can drop himself to. Let other "civilized races" do it. We should not.
