These acts come out of depression, people are hopeless and frustrated because of the economic hardship in the country.when people are left lonely with help coming from no where and all hope have been lost they feel like society doesn't love them, they feel that everything is against them and there is no one to rely on there and then that depression sets in and they feel like hurting themselves to end everything.When it happens like that they need medical help not prayers, they need to see a doctor immediately before they harm themselves.Ghanaians pray for 2016 to come on time for you to kick out these incompetent, heartless criminals from office before a dissaster befalls this poor leaderless nation.

With so much greed, corruption, infidelity, dishonesty, envy, hate, anger and vengeance in a practically lawless country these days, serious cross-examination ought to be run.

They will flatter their members to give and that is where their blessings are. If we investigate very well, perhaps this poor guy has given so much to his pastor that in time of crisis, the pastor and 'giving and you will be blessed' could not save this guy.

Pastors should stop preaching about giving too much and reveal the love and grace of God to their members. When a Christian understand the love of God on the cross, hardly will that Christian relies on his own self-righteousness. This guy fate is in darkness. He could not rely on the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ to live. Even the Church Of Pentecost we all know used to preach about the cross is now give, give, give!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Where are we heading, the Church of Jesus Christ? The pastors are interested in building many houses and drive in posh cars than the salvation of the flock Jesus Christ entrusted to these pastors.

Pastors do you think of what account you will give to Jesus Christ? A word to a wise is enough.

Pastors, stop exploiting your poor flock, and go back to preach why Jesus Christ came to die on the cross. Why should God leave his glory to come to this world to suffer from sinful men to shed his blood for mankind. Pastors preach this message. That is the only thing that can save your flock. This guy wouldn't have committed suicide if he understood the message of the cross.

I am sure this guy has been told to give and everything will be ok. He has really given, and that could not solve his problem. He was hopeless, for the pastor let this guy depend on false hope. I am sure that resulted his suicide. Preach the gospel!!!! preach the gospel pastors!!!!!!!!!

Our refusal as a people to embrace wholeheartedly scientific facts and discoveries , has created this vacuum which is filled with superstitious beliefs promoted by certain churches and certain traditional African religions.

Christianity as Jesus Christ brought to mankind is a way of life, and it is a relationship between man and God Almighty. Christianity in its sense is how God Almighty Himself reached to mankind. Christianity is how God Almighty loves mankind. God Showed His love to mankind by not withholding His only begotten son to mankind. Instead, God Almighty gave Jesus Christ as ransom to pay for our sin. That whoever believes in him will have eternal life.

Not only believers in Jesus Christ have eternal life, believers are delivered from diseases and sickness, from their enemy (Satan), depression,poverty etc. Ephesians chapter 3, Paul explain to gentile believers that God has made available His endless treasures to gentile believers. Philippians Chapter 4 says God will supply believers all their needs from His glorious riches which has been given to us in Christ Jesus.

God purpose is to give us eternal life through Jesus Christ and prosper believers. Read the bible and understand the Good News. Don't let any pastor who does not understand the bible to deceive you. Christianity is excellent. It is bad occultist pastors who given bad names to Christianity. Despite that, we have good pastors who are taking care of the flock.

There is no salvation in African religion. We have some people who practice African religion and they too scam innocent people. Those fetish priests steal innocent people wives like some bad pastors.

The only remedy to this problem is that, Christians should not be lazy. Christians must read the bible to understand it. The Word of God is power. If you are empowered by the Word of God , and you speak the Word God, something must happened. I have tested and seen the results in my own life. I am a member of Church of Pentecost and I solely depend on the Word of God, Holy Spirit and God Almighty for my needs. I pay my tithes . I don't give offering because a pastor says that will bring blessings to me. We have to give offering, but not by pressure. Understand Christianity and it will prosper your soul and body.

I blame greedy Pastors. No amount of money satisfies them. If God says that judgment will start from his house, Christians must be very careful.

There is nothing we can do apart from what Jesus Christ has done for mankind on the cross. Our redemption, deliverance, riches, healing, joy and peace with God are all found in the cross.

My friend who is clinical pastor, don't be offended and I know what I am saying. You hear these clinical pastors and you don't hear Jesus Christ. And it is all what one can do to get out from entanglement from sin.
That will not help a sinner.

When you recognize that you are a sinner and you need help. That will pave a way for you to seek Jesus Christ. The world refuses to accept that our problem in this world is sin. When the world recognize this problem, then we will find out who has remedy for this sin. The remedy is in Jesus Christ.

This is what happened in ancient past, and this is what is happening in Ghana today. People are suffering from mental health issues and instead of taking these people to qualified medics, Ghanaians resort to pastors, archbishops, bishops and self anointed prophets to pray and heal them. like the medieval times, these quacks are getting rich off the backs of mentally ill patients who have nowhere to turn but commit suicides. 2. Never waste time calling a church, a pastor, a priest, or any of such an ignorant pretender to pray for you.

Prayers never work, and have never worked anywhere in this world regardless of what you might "believe". Didn't Jesus Christ pray in the Garden of Gestemane to avoid his disgraceful doom? Did he not pray on the cross again to be saved by the man up there? Were his prayers answered? No! Because there was, and is, no one up there. It is only modern-day "primitive" people with childish, first century minds that still pray to a non-existing God instead of calling scienfically trained experts to deal with their health issues.
