  Good job Ghana Police force and what should be done is, the time is right for construction or forming of Ghana Prisons Agriculture force. Their would be escorting these useless criminals to farm, in order to produce food for the nation and also for export, instead of prosecuting, jailing and back out to complete the unfinished business of stealing.

  The largest annoyance coming out of Ghana these days is the flux of internet crime. One might consider it petty and one of a misdemeanor. I assure you it is not. There are many cases of minors and even young boys posing as women in their mid 20s to 30s using the ploy of making a search for a relationship as a cover, then start asking for money for things such as medication for a sick mother. The biggest mistake they make, is they try to convince people that they are born in the United States, and moved to Ghana because their parents went for work related reasons, and died a tragic death.
  Well I have been to Ghana on business, and yes, although there is high populations in the metropolitan areas, you could argue it would be impossible to pick out the odd North American citizen. Well, first, that is not so, and second if I believed the scams by pure volume alone, at least one quarter of the population would be American citizens.
  I can not understand why they do not have enough pride in themselves to admit they were born and raised in Ghana. There are many attractive young women there. It is foolish to pretend to be an American stuck in Ghana. That would not give me cause to be attracted to anyone. If they were truly US citizens, they could appeal to the American consulate at the American Embassy and find a way back to US soil. Even worse, I am a Canadian, what would I care for an American girl, I've seen enough of them and know their behavior quite well thank you.
  Yet, I am a forensic psychologist, so I know when someone is telling the truth or creating a fantasy. I am not swayed by the numbers of attempts I alone receive and I even answer to them and try to tell them to stop their criminal activity. No one truly finds love that fast that quickly. It might have happened once or twice in history, and then became an urban legend, but today it is a confidence scam, and a poorly executed one.
  Law enforcement in Ghana need to crack down and enter the internet cafes in plain clothes, and glance over a few shoulders, then sit next to a likely suspect running their fake scam and learn the pattern. Once that has been done, arrests can be made and justice can be served.
