    He must be punished for the crime though, but 30 years is too much as compared to others. The judge must be fair.

    Was the knife found? If you know how Ghana police can sometimes concoct lies to get someone imprisoned, you will be shocked. At least in such a case, the guy should have been given a public defendant.

    Somebody manages to buy a phone and you pull a knife on her to collect the phone. Why should a person die because a mobile phone? The robber should have been jailed for 100 years.

    What kind of judges do we have in Ghana, 30 years for robbery after the thief has admitted guilt. Waste of our tax payer's money. This is harsh. I know this thief has no family and was never provided with legal aid.

    some fears that if they plead not guilty
    the judge may send him (suspect)to remand.I am sure this guy did the same
