The irony is that the accused may be using the same allegedly stolen cash to hire competent Lawyers to defend him and possibly counter sue the Ghanaian Businessman.

The irony is that the accused may be using the same allegedly stolen cash to hire competent Lawyers to defend him and possibly counter sue the Ghanaian Businessman.

If the Ghanaian could afford, he better find matching top-notch Lawyers from the West, especially the USA, to take up his case. If not, the Canadian Lawyers would raze through the System to win the case for their Client.

Many similar cases in the past have seen their Ghanaian complainants losing under the sheer clout of their Western opponent's Western Lawyers. He must also beware that some of the Western "hyena" Attorneys could turn around and settle secretly with the accused's Lawyers to cause a loss to the Ghanaian.

A similar dubious legal collusion is reported in Arizona where a Law Firm that has humongous Political clout intimidated a lesser-known local Lawyer into coercing his Ghanaian client to accept a shoddy deal in a case that the Ghanaian lady complainant could have easily won in any other fairer system.
