Let us not constantly put our own people down. White people can be just as evil, backward etc. (if not more so) than Black people. There is good and bad in every group. We get into trouble when we attribute everything positive to the White man and only negative things to the Black man.

It is these people who are rather 'primitive and backward', because, they still see the 'whiteman' as the epitome of all that we should aspire to achieve! I agree that this 'poor' blacksmith has skills that could be harnessed but to manufacture a Pistol in Ghana?? To do what with? Shoot Nkomfem? In the land of the 'whiteman' that these people are literally worshiping, he would need a Licence to do that and he would have been arrested as well! Please let's have some self-confidence in our Africanness otherwise we will continue to play second fiddle to others! May the Good Lord have mercy on us.

  What a cheap talk and narrow minded person you are, whoever you are to suggest a jail sentence for such an artistic human being just because he is good at what he does. When was the last time you created something with your own imagination or learnt trade or when was the alst time you even attempted to apply for a license in GHANA to commence a business your own. If your answer this questions are no or never then I suggest you keep your mouth shut and rather embrace people like this talented individual who makes life a little easier for others in this primitive and backward looking country of us ours with ist so protectors of the law who rather oppresses the masses.
