Why don't the authorities publicize all such stolen properties. On cars, why cant the authorities simply put the registration details on a web site that can be easily verified by prospective buyers? The more inofrmation out ...

Why don't the authorities publicize all such stolen properties. On cars, why cant the authorities simply put the registration details on a web site that can be easily verified by prospective buyers? The more inofrmation out there, the easier it is to fight crime.
