Such comments are very unhelpful, Douglas.The man's crime has nothing to do with his ethnicity. I am surprised that living in the U.K has not offered you a better perspective and you still appear narrow minded.

I say, expunge the law that criminalizes "weed" or Marijuana from the Law Books because it is a bad law.
If not, then it is right to break such bad laws.
