I am very sympathetic to the father but absolute care must be taken not to rush to an unjustified judgement. I lost everything including my family, career, my house and respect just because a pregnant 16 year old girl pointed her finger at me.First my wife of close to 10 years left with my 2 kids saying that there was no was no smoke without fire.I was summarily sacked from work where I was in management because the girl's father whom I got the job for decided to broadcast the accusations at work.I had to sell my house in the end to fund my defense and also feed myself.It took a threat for me to go and put a conditional curse on the guilty party and the baby before the girl spoke the truth clearing me of the false allegations. They didn't even have enough decency to tell me who the father of the baby was before leaving Tema.I have relocated since as a smarter, bitter and more cautious person.Investigate this case professionally without destroying more lives.If the Officer is guilty then let the law take it's course but we must never allow a very emotional and angry parent dictate what is done next.

The fact that the suspect denies the charges does not mean the matter should come to an end. It is a fact that the girl is pregnant; it is also a fact that of all the men in the world this stinking police officer is the only one named as being responsible for the pregnancy. Please investigate the case properly using DNA and other investigative tools to establish facts and go from there to arrest the monster and process him for court. The lackadaisical attitude you seem to be showing because the suspect is one of your own is simply unacceptable.
