A SIMILLAR INCIDENT OCURRED AT EXACTLY THE SAME TIME AT A COMMUNITY CALLED YOA IN THE KASSENA/NANKANA DISTRICT NEAR SIRIGU IN THE UPPER EAST REGION WHERE ARMED ROBBERS ATTACKED 3 RESIDENT NURSES AT THE YOA CHPS COMPOUND ONE OF THE NURSES WAS HIT IN THE MONTH WITH THE BUTT OF A GUN FOR SHOUTING AND TWO OTHERS WITH THEIR BABIES WERE ASSAULTED. THEY SECURITY GUARD WAS TIED AND GAG.I THINK THE GHANA HEALTH SERVICE MUST RECONSIDER POSTING FEMALE NURSES TO THESE REMOTE , ISOLATED COMPOUNDS WITH NO SECURITY AND IN SOME CASES NO ELECTRICITY.
