IT is good that Ghana is prosecuting greedy and unwise parents who force their daughter into marriage. Ghana's laws takes precedence to any laws in our country.

IT is good that Ghana is prosecuting greedy and unwise parents who force their daughter into marriage. Ghana's laws takes precedence to any laws in our country.

This forced marriage is common among Islamic sect.Muslims men love teenage girls, they will pay money to teenage girls parents to marry their daughter Most often, these teenage girls, who are forced to marry these Muslim men may not be in love with their Muslim men.

Marriage must be between two adults who consent to marry. it must be between two adults who love each other.It should not be forced upon anyone or against the will of anyone.

I think this is a clear message to Muslims who practice this forced marriages. The father must be punished to send a clear message to those primitive parents in Muslim community.
