I, as a US citizen, have a compound in Kasoa and my returning for 6 months (Nov-Apr) to spend my dollars in Ghana has been hit hard due to the increase of armed robberies, rapes, car jackings, etc. That Amanfrom area never has enough police and I mean the non-corrupt few.

Will leave Kasoa area in less than 60 days and move my African family away from Accra-area as crime is increasing daily (criminals are lazy people that feed off others positive efforts). It is getting so that it may make more sense to depopulate the major cities in Africa and send folks back to their villages and small towns for far better policing by their peers and the formal police. Individuals will then have to be more responsible for their actions.

Any time I come to Ghana on my next visit...I will arm myself to the tooth..
And anyone coming close to my wall or building would be dead..I won't wait for the police to tell me to go to the crime scene and take pictures myself and bring it to them like they told my 77yrs old Mum in March...I hope victims in sakumono will start burning the arm robbers in their neighbourhood any time any of them is caught..
I support the instant justice been metered out at kasoa..
