I was shocked to learn how many murders occurred in Ghana in 2015. This looks like a contract killing and hope the monsters get apprehended soon.

We need CCTV cameras on our highways to help track this kind of crime.Without it, it will be difficult for the police to get culprits.

Akoto be real. I dont know which part of the world you live in but here in Ghana under Mahama, even if these CCTV cameras were installed at double or triple the going cost world-wide, they wouldnt work because;

1. The big man who is to commission the project before it can be used, hasnt found the time to do so in the past 18 months or so.

2. Since all or most - perhaps 95% of street lights dont work or are not put on for God knows what reason in spite of the fact that all Ghanaians pay every month for their upkeep, we can assume that the same will apply to the cameras.

3. Assuming that in the remote possibility or miracle that the cameras can overcome the above two setbacks, 'dumsor' will surely ensure that there will be no electricity to power the cameras.

4. Assuming that Jesus Christ makes his long-awaited triumphant return back to earth, compelled principally by the need to get some CCTV cameras in some remote rural area of Ghana to work, we will all find out that alas, the cameras were of the wrong specs - in fact, we will belatedly find out that they are more suited for domestic indoor usage rather than for out-door applications and that they cannot zoom beyond a distance of 10ft, they are not dust-proof nor water-proof, there are no street lights in the area to enable night-time applications, the cameras have no night-vision applications and that by the time we finally get round to this realization, the guarantee and insurance would have elapsed hence, in short, there will be mounted CCTV cameras but no usage of CCTV cameras for the needed purpose.

If the country values lives as in other places the choppers would have been bought and deployed to fight crime in at least all the regional capitals.

If crime is reported several hours after it has taken place choppers will be of little help. First all police stations must be hooked up to one emergency line. This emergency line must be short and easy to memorize like 112 911 etc. Citizens can therefore report early providing the color of the bike if no number. Immediately the fm stations shd begin announcements to help track the killers immediately.

Land issues in Ghana is very difficult to solve because croocked policemen protect land guards, there's land case at Akropong court in the eastern region where a crooked policeman named Cpl. David Megbunya of the Aburi police station, twice assisted the same suspect John Becker Agbezudow, to escape legal custody, Agbezudow is now a fugitive who have absconded a Ghc 10,000- court bail, Cpl. David Megbunya is being investigated as ordered by the court.

Honest police personnel ought to report the corrupt ones, instead, they seem to close ranks and protect each other, making police investigations much more difficult because the public do not trust the police some of whom collect bribes and protect land guards.
