So because of this minor issue this guy have been in remand for nearly two years. Also sentence for over a year for what? Why can't you the judiciary give communal sentence for some minor issues to decongest the prisons.
What was the risk to society from this guy that resulted him been on remand for over two years?

Ghana is a very funny country. A suspended sentence would have sufficed. Why destroy a young man's future because of "wee" that some countries have either legalised or are thinking of legalising?
Hmmmm is the 2years in remand not punitive enough for this boý? Couldn't he have been given community service? We need to be serious in this country, is this the way to decongest the prisons?

Two years in jail on remand and jailed again. He did the wrong thing but two years on remind is really harsh. At best he should have been set free with time served on remand.
