AUTHOR : JAMES MANN------ - How does Omane Boamah explain these: 1. the preamble says, the contractor did a bid and did win the contract and he was introduced to the then Vice President who happens to be the present President and he a sent a delegation to attend a funeral concerning the contractor, after that he wins a bid to build a wall to the value of $650,000(which is another issue altogether), then he gives a "gift" to the President who then calls to say thank you. 2. He begins winning contracts based of sole sourcing which are against the procurement rules of the country?

The current generation of police we have are thieves, thugs and government trained criminals. My friend who was driving at about 10pm in Nungua weeks ago was robbed by a police patrol team. Why? Because they said he was pressing his phone whiles driving. The police demanded GH500.00 and he declined so he got handcuffed and a search was conducted on him and GH220.00 and Ecobank ATM were found on him. His request to be taken to the police station at Kpeshie was turned down only to be asked to add GH 280.00 or they take him to a nearest Ecobank ATM to withdraw to make up Ghs500. When my friend refused to yield their demands they unlocked the handcuff and threatened to beat him up and they drove off with his money. So unfortunate is that there was light out so my friend cant make any of the police thieves out.

Though my Dad was a police i am developing so much hatred for the police.
