  I will definitely ask Ghana Prisons to introduce canning in our prisons, where every prison receives 12 lashes on his bare buttocks every morning to start the day.
  
  In a Mahama country where jobs are hard to find, there is the tendency these young people would resort to robbery to survive. But how can law abiding citizens live side by side with these criminals who rob at gun point? As I have said, the only solution is for the government to create jobs for this young people, or baring that, our prisons must resort to draconian measures to protect the law abiding citizens. Canning them every morning before breakfast would reduce the recidivism.
