  I believe the judge, why do they refer to him as Your Worship anyway? This country is confused. The criminals should have been jailed for at least 5 years. They are fraudsters and 1 day in jail stinks to high heaven.

  Observer, per sentencing guidelines, the punishment is ok. Fine of 1,200 or in default 12 months imprisonment. They were also ordered to refund 10,000 to the victim. If they are sent to jail, it will be difficult for the victim to recover his money. I think the judge is interested in recovering the 10,000.

  If you jail the idiots, the victim will not get his money back. So pay fine of 1,200 and refund. I think is ok. The victim must not lose his money

  The prison is choked so one day in prison, fine and refund is ok. If those fraudsters are jailed, they would be fed by the tax payers money. They are young men and first offenders. May be they have shown remorse and were ready to reimburse the victim of their crime. Sending them to prison would help the victim who was defrauded. Is better to restore the victim to his former state. We call restorative justice.
