They should check the husband very well, and she has mobile phone, they should check the last calls from the service providers' system on that day to check who called her. Because she cannot be cooking diner in the evening, and then later be killed; somebody might have called her to where the ambushers might be hiding. Once the person(s) are arrested and confirmed to be have killed, these persons should be hanged to death in public because we can't cope to live with these animalistic wild human-like beings
