  Data controller generally refers to people, organisations or institutions that hold personal (bio) data (name, address, age, gender, bank details etc.)
  The unscrupulous data controllers do sell the information they hold to commercial and other 3 parties without the consent of the individual(s) whose data it is.
  Registration is meant to address mis-use of peoples data.
  The point I'd like to make is that nearly all cloud storage / data centre are HACKABLE. How else did the Democrats loose the US elections, so the impression shouldn't be given that cloud storage is secure.
  Also beware of Microsoft. Good ol' Bill Gates wants to dominate the digital & electronic world with Windows, Microsoft Office and now cloud storage.
  I even hear there is a prophecy about this world situation and scenario in the Bible, but I shan't go there.
