However, given the low proof reading standards by Ghanaian media outlets before they put out a story, I am suspecting they did a typo on the age of the kid. We don't start school at 3 in Ghana. Could they have wrongly typed 3 instead of 6 on the numbers pad on the keyboard? Reason why I am saying this is, all the Ghanaian media platforms - print and electronic- do not proof read anything these days, GNA included. The typos and grammatical errors have become too much. Unless the school is a day care or day nursery I doubt the age put out here in the story is correct. Most probably 6 years old. Whatever be the case, the teacher who happens to be the head pastor and owner if the preparatory school deserves the punishment. These are the things some unscrupulous people do to children that sets them up for a lifetime of mental health problems and suicide ideations. Lock him up and throw the key away. Aboa like that. False pastor!

When I was in the nursery, I was 3 years old and did and say things most people thought a 3 years old couldn't have said. I went to class one at a little over 4 years old and did very well.

My smaller brother was only 2 years old when he took my mother to a place in Bubiashie in Accra when my mom got lost. My mom took him there just only once. When mom couldn't make the way again, my brother just told her "Mom you're lost" long before my knew she was lost and had to go back before the small boy in her back directed her! Do you understand?

You want people to have been there to witness the man violating the little girl before she could be believed. But you're just like the man: he didn't know the kid could come up with his name. And I trust that, if this kid has been able to mention that name, she must have known so many names already. The hospital found out that she was defiled!

If you going to jailed a person, you have to make sure he is actually guilty of the crime. Going with just the word of the 3 year old is dangerous. Most 3 years old see the teacher most of the time and think everything is teacher. This is miscarriage of justice.

Therefore though the child is 3 years old yet she was conscious of her sexuality and can actually identify a person who might attempt to defile her. The fact that medical examination confirmed she had been defiled, it's obvious that she could identify who defiled her. Children of such age are sensitive and usually come into contact with teachers who exhibit playful tact with them. The teacher might have had affinity with her and she being conscious of love affairs can easily point to the one who defiled her. Teachers must stop playing with girls in a way that could create conscious impression on the mind of a girl to have in mind that the teacher loves. It's possible the said teacher defiled the minor!

The story is, rather, about a "PROPRIETOR" of a school who happens to be a "PASTOR" of a church that owns the school.
