  A gentleman who used to work for my father was the same way.He moved to Kumasi many years ago from Northern Region without much formal education or trade.But he was hard working and very honest which made him many friends.My father had him trained.(I am not disclosing what our trade is because that will expose me).Soon he got married and had two beautiful children and they looked like an ideal family until you saw how he treated his wife.Anytime he got angry at his wife he beat her to an inch of her life.When my father witnessed one such beatings he interverned and had her sent to the hospital where he was admitted.My father warned him that he will be arrested if he attacked anybody like that ever again.After she was discharged from the hospital,he refused to allow her to sleep in their bedroom so she slept on a mat outside the room.He some how found that offensive too and assaulted her again.This time she took her children and run back to the North.My father sacked him from the job but couldn't get him arrested because the wife was not around to press charges.He has tried numerous times to get his job back but my father refuses to even speak to him.I hear he went back to the North to beg the Wife to come back but she refused eventhough her father was pressuring her.He brought his children back to live with him briefly before sending them back to their mother.The strange thing is if you meet this man you would never associate him to the monster he becomes when he is with his own wife and children.
