Even if those arrested were part of those who killed the Fula man, the Police contributed to their action. Farming is not an easy job. so, for some people to take loan, farm and a Fula man grazes his cattle on the farms and the Police does nothing, no arrests or investigation, that calls for people taking laws into their own hands. If the Police have arrested the Fula man and investigated the case, the man would have been alive by now. How do you expect the farmers to take the loan they might have taken for their farms.
Farmers all over Afram Plains, Ashanti Region, Northern Region and Krobo area have complained over the Fula menace but all have fallen into deaf ears of authorities. It is only when the people take the laws into their own hands that the Police want to act. Until there is justice, people will take laws into their hands and there will always be mob action. I don't in the least blame the farmers because the Fula also kill Ghanaians and rape their women in their farms and nothing happens. Why can't the Fula take their cattle to pasture on people's farms in Burkina Faso? Yes, there, they will meet men who are also armed.

What can be done to eradicate this institutional corruption in the police service? Who is the MP for the area? Why has that MP not taken up the menace of the Fulani herdmen with the relevant authority?

It is well known that our security agencies protect foreigners more than the citizens. This culture only exists in Ghana. Fulanis have been committing all sorts of atrocities against Ghanaians with impunity but not the other way round. Recent brutal attack of civilians in Western by soldiers protecting Chinese equipment convey are few of such cases. They should go to the West and other Ecowas countries to see how security agencies work to protect their citizens.
