The Vice Chair said, it is the prerogative of the Committee to sanction the maverick politician hence the claims by the NDC MP to call for the suspension of Kennedy Agyapong was neither here nor there.
He said, no member has the power to recommend sanctions to the committee.
The committee may recommend for the suspension or removal of the Assin Central MP as part of their recommendations but Muntaka Mubarak, cannot make such a suggestion because he is the complainant in the matter.
He also indicated that the committee has not arrived at a decision on the mode of hearing into complains filed by Muntaka Mubarak on some utterances made by Kennedy Agyapong.
Muntaka Mubarak, who is the Minority Chief whip wants Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong, suspended from Parliament for the rest of this session.
