Member of Parliament for the Manhyia North Constituency in the Ashanti Region on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party, Collins Owusu Amankwah, has said that members of the NDC should not dream that the EC will reverse its decision to compile a new voters' register because of their numerous agitations.
Speaking on UTV's late news discussions programme, the lawmaker said members of the largest opposition party have been bewitched therefore their inability to make positive decisions and think right.
"Members of the NDC keep suffering both in court and public to express themselves on why a new voters’ register should not be compiled because they have been bewitched, their problem of not thinking right,” he said.
The MP noted that the NPP as a party will not accept any flawed elections just as the flagbearer of the NDC has said, therefore the need for the new voters’ register for free and fair elections.
"..But one thing members of the NDC must bear in mind is that the credibility of elections in this country does not come from them and will never depend on them," he added.
