I would advise them to remember their small beginnings and consider others are going through the same.

Use your offices to make life better and not keep the old status quo that used to make life hard for you two.

I hear, Haruna keep repeating that annoying phrase, standards need to be kept in our schools.

Who is against standards, we are asking for every child in school to be given equal access not specialized access for just 18,000 students each year out of 500,000.

We will come to regret this if it is not already happening with the wanton unemployment and crime deviling Ghana.

I would debate Haruna anytime, anywhere about this bogus standards must be kept doctrine.

He should not be saying such things. It is a sign you lack capability to develop the worse of worse students under your watch as minister.

He promised appointment of fewer ministers to reduce cost. He DID reduce the cabinet but the cost adjustment for inflation is the cause of the higher cost.

Because it would be worse if he had retained Akufo-Addo's number of ministers, we can say that he is fairly on course.

French is more relevant for Ghana as the President indicated. On Arabic, Muslims study the language because their Holy Book is in Arabic. In order to understand it. They need to learn it.

Compare that with Chinese. Is Ghana going to sell all the lands and minerals to China? So that in that case they will need to train and prepare Ghanaian minds for Chinese colonization?? Can this ever happen in China? Will China ever accept teaching Twi in all their public schools? Africa Awake!!

It is not the number of languages that matter. Or indeed any subject that we approve for our schools and learning institutions. It is the RELEVANCE of subjects. Are they going to help our future generation compete effectively in the future world.All advancements in all areas of human endeavor are almost always available to the whole world in the English Language. Therefore we do not need to know Chinese Russian or Japanese to have access to advancements. The one language which should be learned by Ghanaians is French. Our neighbours are French-speaking, we trade and interact with them DAILY. It makes practical sense to be able to interact better with our direct immediate neighbours. We intermarry with them and some linguistic groups coincide with some of our own. The PUZZLE is why we have not made better effort to learn French. The Europeans deliberately carved up Africa and created language barriers. That way it was easier to keep neighbours apart and exploit them more easily An effective way of fostering African Uni t and intraAfrican connections is to learn the French Belgian and others. Certainly Not Chinese or Russian !!!
